40 hours is a bit much for us to handle in a month. Typically 25 hours is our max.

I have Type 0 and it's still in its plastic wrap. I'd love to play it, but I think Rich is right. Even if people played 2 hours a day for five days a week we'd be finishing right at the end of the month. Remember that How Long to Beat creates an average game length by user submitted times, so something that's 40 hours might take 50 hours to beat.

Still, great suggestion. I'm crazy for the Final Fantasy games and naturally I'd love to play one here, but the time commitment might be too much.

Just added some of the games we talked about wanting to play in our E3 podcast.  Might have missed a few.

I'd love to play Type 0 as well, but due to the length, I don't think it would work.  Not to mention, I believe the only NA release of this game was on current gen consoles, and 2 of your 4 playthrough hosts have yet to embrace the new generation.  Wink

I think if we did a Final Fantasy game, FF IV seems like the obvious choice.  It's shorter in length (hltb has it at roughly 20 hours), and it's easily one of the best in the series.

You don't even need to buy Zork: http://textadventures.co....yoqrsugeopel3ffhz_vq/zork

It's the playthrough that everyone can do!

Awesome! I say we do it! Never played a text adventure game before but I have some experience with visual novels which I'm guessing are pretty much the same thing.
