Hes not a militant atheist hes a scientist.

I would take a miltant atheist over a christian/islamic fundamentalist any day.

...no.  He is pretty militant about his atheism.  That makes him a militant atheist.  I don't know an easier way to explain it.  and that has nothing to do with him being a scientist.  There were plenty of scientists throughout history that were very religious.

Personally, I'm a big believer that science and technology are the single most important things.  Ever.  But religions have, still and will play a crucial part in cultural stability both on micro and macro levels.  I certainly wouldn't like to live in a world without them.

Richard Dawkins comes off as having the chip on his shoulder making his decisions, instead working around it. Smiley

Well I understand what your saying I was just informing you hes a scientist. Hes also one of the ones pushing the boundaries of they idea of evolution so you can see why he has the chip on his shoulder lol.
